PowerShell 5.1

PowerShell 5.1:

PowerShell 5.1 was released on 2^nd of August 2016, along with the Windows 10 Anniversary update. This version is finally released on 19 January 2017. Microsoft has made it available for Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 7, Windows Server 2012, and Windows Server 2012 R2.

This is the first version that came in two editions of “Core” and “Desktop”.
